AVEDON FASHION PHOTOS 1944-2000 EXHIBIT IN NYC UNTIL 9/6/09

I just discovered that the above Avedon Fashion Photo Exhibit is in NYC at the International Center of Photography until 9/6/09. It looks like it must be wonderful, especially the photos of Suzy Parker, Dovima, and Audrey Hepburn in Paris.

There is a separate gallery at the Exhibit called "Paris at Night".

A companion catalog is available on Amazon. I hope to see the exhibit in July.-- just ordered the catalog which has the famous Jean Shrimpton pink spacesuit photo on the cover.

More information is available on the International Center of Photography website.

Would anyone who has already seen the exhibit please comment.

A bunch of us went to the Avedon Exhibit last week. Here we are in front of it. They would not let us take photos inside. It was marvelous.

From left to right: Designer Stephie Zan, Sixties top model Zulieka, Make-up artist Bobby Butz, Sixties top model Linda Morand and Seventies model and stylist, Corey Grant Tippin.

Corey and Bobby knew Dorian Leigh and Suzy Parker and Avedon, so we they had some very interesting anecdotes.

I highly reccoment the show!
