One last ad from the first issue of Seventeen magazine, September 1944. Can you imagine being told to design an ad that combines Flame-Glo lipstick, Uncle Sam and military secrets?! Notice the ad for War bonds and stamps directly above it:

hi, we got a organ with music and a lyric song hits magazine was in the pile of sheet music. the mag has this same ad and the magazine in mint condition missing the first page otherwise it's un-touched do you think this magazine would be worth something??? thanks!!!

Hi Gabbie,

Congratulations on your vintage discovery! Yes, I think collectors might be interested in the magazine. Are you familiar with eBay? I would suggest that you look for the same magazine there and see what the listing price is. If you decide to sell yours on eBay, you should include a scan or digital photo of the most interesting pages. This ad would certainly be one.
