I believe this is Kecia Nyman's likeness on the cover of the 1965 Summer Bride & Home magazine. (Kecia, Please let me know if I'm wrong). Although this is the summer issue, the dark yellow background made me think of fall. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! *~Susan~*
I have been contacted by a lovely lady, Lorraine Caton, known to all as "Miss Lorraine" from Canada. She is the person who discovered Kecia Nyman as a teen-ager in Canada, and they have remained friends for all these years. Not only is Kecia so beautiful, she is lovely on the inside too, and according to Miss Lorraine, a very hard worker, never complaining, not a diva...always willing to go the extra mile.
She told me that Kecia has over 700 covers of international magazines that she has seen, and the estimates go into perhaps 2000 covers! Kecia's beautiful and appealing face was in constant demand all over the world for every magazine from Vogue to the most obscure catalogs. Her face sold magazines.
We have been fortunate to receive many donations of pictures from Kecia and her friends and fans. Over time I will consolidate these into a feature article. Stay tuned!
Kecia sent this on the "Galleries are Open" message thread. I copied it here.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Susan,
It is me on the cover of Bride and Home, Summer 1965 issue. I would like to thank you, for helping. So very many of my pictures have been lost through time. We were sure busy working in the days of the fab 60s.
You're most welcome! As soon as the Gallery is ready, I'll post that picture plus 6 others of you from 1963-1965 Simplicity magazines. One is another cover:
I found this picture in the 1966 Fall/Winter Singer sewing magazine, and I think it might be of you. Could you let me know? If it is, I'll post it with the others. Thanks, *~Susan~*
I recieved over 100 pictures of Kecia and her beautiful sister, Tamara, from a friend of Kecia. I spent the entire day downloading these pictures, retouching them, if they had creases and makng them smaller (72 dpi) so that they would be suitable for the web. I am getting ready to upload them to the www.minimadmod60s.com. I will make a special page for Kecia.
Tamara, who was as beautiful as Kecia, but in a different way, married the Prince of Liechtenstein, someone that I knew quite well. It is amazing that one family could have two such beautiful daughters and that they should both grow up to be supermodels. Kecia had a much longer and illustrious career because Tamara's career was cut short by her marriage and consequent children. This is an article in a Finnish magazine about Tamara.
This is Tamara with Prince Albrecht von Liechtenstein and Princess Ira von Furstenberg.
Here is one of my favorites of Tamara, so elegant, so graceful, so beautiful.
More to come.....

The 1966 Glamour's Beauty Book (Agneta Frieberg cover) that I had ordered came in the mail today. Who should I find inside but our featured model, Kecia Nyman! I have made a single image of each page to post in Kecia's album when everything is set up. Here are 3 images of the double pages (I wanted to save room here at the Forum):
I love that article about Kecia. One of the great things about this site is that I have been able to connect with Kecia again. She and her friends have been so helpful. I am so glad she is being recognized again. She was once one of the most recognized faces in the world.
All of the pictures of Kecia that I mentioned in this thread have been posted in the 60s Super Models Main Date Base "Kecia Nyman". I found one more picture of Kecia in the 1966 Glamour's Beauty Book:
