Real neat to see the cover of the Seventeen Magazine, February issue 1953. It ran an article about a trip that was won by 21 girls in Houston, Texas. The trip was to the Mayan Bar M Ranch in Bandera, Texas for the weekend. The contest was sponsored by Foley's of Houston. I was one of the winners.

After 57 years...a very belated CONGRATULATIONS to you!

What was the nature of the contest? Did you win for modeling or for writing an essay? Please share with us more of the details.

Also, do you have the pages of that article? They would make an interesting addition to the site.
