The very first
Seventeen magazine that I bought was the
October 1966 issue with
Joan Delaney on the cover:
Joan Delaney's Headsheet Album(Why is
25 written on Joan's bangs? Because I bought this copy at a public library magazine sale in 1982 for
$.25!)
I enjoyed every page, but a certain
Jonathan Logan ad really caught my eye. I loved the style of the dress, but there was no way that I could afford to buy one for
$23.00. I didn't realize who the model was until I found
MiniMadMOD60s last year...she's none other than
Linda Morand!

McCall's pattern that is modeled by
Linda Syrota. I made the short, puffed sleeve version to wear for school. It turned out so well that I ended up making two!
