Thank you, Bonnie, for creating this new album for Alamac Fabrics ads: http://www.minimadmod60s.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=88003
Bonnie explains:
Alamac Fabrics was a delightful ad campaign featuring the top models of the day. The ads began appearing in the late 1950s and continued until the early 1970s. The earlier ad format consisted of a model in front, flanked by male models holding the fabric spools, in a "V" shaped line behind the model. The male models, with their different costumes, often upstaged the model and the outfit she wore. By the late 1960s, male models were no longer used, but the fabric spools continued to appear in the ads with the model.
Here are a few of these fun ads:
1960 Dolores Hawkins
1962 Joan Delaney
1965 Jennifer O'Neill
1967 Paula Feiten
1968 Terry Reno
1971 Joyce Ingalls
