I just posted some new ads in the Ad Campaigns Album from the very first issue of Seventeen magazine, September 1944:

Many of the ads featured movie stars like Lucille Ball...

In contrast, other companies understood who the target audience was and featured teenage girls in their ads.

These pictures are so cool! This came out when my Mother was Seventeen!
Thanks for finding these and posting them. I put it on Facebook and my friends liked it.
