Designer Mary Quant and husband/business partner Alexander Plunket Greene were featured in Life magazine when they first sold their fashions in the U.S.A. In the December 5, 1960 article, the styles were described as kooky, way-out, nutty and wacky. At that time, no one knew that one of Mary Quant's kooky creations...the miniskirt...would forever change the course of women's fashion!
