The Celanese Corporation is an American company founded in 1918. One of the products they manufacture is acetate, a fabric that can be used for fashion apparel.

In the 1960s, Celanese ran many multi-page ads with a common theme in fashion magazines. I found this fun ad campaign in the November 1964 Seventeen magazine: 5 college men from 5 different colleges rate various winter party dresses from the Datesetters line:



Something unique about this ad campaign is that model-turned-actress Candice Bergen was featured on one page:
