In the mid-1960s, Seventeen magazine introduced guides about specific topics with information condensed from articles in earlier issues of the magazine. These 5" x 7" booklets usually featured popular Seventeen models on the cover, although the inside pages were mostly illustrations. The booklets sold for $.25 each, and an order form could be found in the back of the magazines:

Katiti Kironde was the first Black woman to be featured on the cover of a top fashion magazine. The daughter of an ambassador to the United Nations, Katiti was a student at Memorial University of Newfoundland ('69) when she applied to be one of Glamour magazine's 10 Best-Dressed College Girls of '68. Not only was she one of the winners, but she was also chosen to be the cover girl.
