Elinor Rowley's modeling career spanned an entire decade from the
early 1950s to the
early 1960s. To me, she always looked like the very pretty and sweet
"girl next door". I've been searching for some new photos to add to her album. I was excited to find a
newspaper article about
Elinor from
1956:

Elinor Rowley Gimbel passed away on
April 14, 2007, after a long illness. She was survived by a daughter and a son. All of us at miniMadMOD60s send our condolences to Elinor's family and to all the fashion industry professionals who had the pleasure of working with her.
These photos and the newspaper article can be found in
Elinor Rowley's Headsheet Album. I've also added her photo to the
In Memoriam Album.
